Wax: Clean and non-toxic
We use only soy and coconut wax: plant-based, biodegradable, and clean-burning alternatives to paraffin wax, a petroleum byproduct that can release carcinogens when burned. Our wax ensures a pure, soot-free experience, benefiting both your well-being and the environment. You can be assured that burning Terreux candles will not affect your indoor air quality. It is safe to burn around kids or pets and can also be used in small spaces.
Fragrance: Safe and uplifting
Our fragrance oils are always phthalate-free, blended with essential oils for safe and uplifting aromas. We avoid synthetic fragrance oils that may contain phthalates or hidden toxins that disrupt hormones or cause respiratory irritation. We source only IFRA-compliant oils, ensuring the highest safety standards and quality. Many mass-market brands don’t disclose full ingredient lists or sourcing practices, but we’re transparent about ours.
Wicks: Natural fibers only
We use only cotton wicks, ensuring a clean and consistent burn. Some imported candles still use lead-core wicks, which release toxic particles when burned, but you'll never find those here. Our natural fiber wicks contribute to a soot-free experience, enhancing the purity of our candles. We hand-pour in small batches, ensuring quality control and transparency.
